The Solar Shade: Our Vision of Regulating the Significant Warming Trend in our Climate

We live in unprecedented times. Never before have we faced such an extreme temperature increase across the globe. This significant increase is causing polar regions to melt, the rise of sea levels, the death of coral reefs, and “Dead Zones” in the oceans. The release of toxic methane and mercury, extreme weather events, and an increase in heat related illnesses and deaths threaten our way of life.
Solar radiation emits five types of rays to the earth: Visible Light; Ultraviolet Light, Infrared Light, Radio Waves and Gamma Rays. But only Infrared Light creates heat on our planet.
The Solar Shade is an infrared filtering nanotechnology delivered by space drones to strategic positions above the atmosphere. The drones cast a web that is fully adjustable, which filters the sun’s rays, reducing the heat trapped in our atmosphere. It is designed not to interfere with our atmosphere and will return to earth upon command. This innovation offers a solution to combat the negative effects of rapid temperature change across the globe.
The Solar Shade is powered by solar electricity and is programmed to move around the earth shading designated areas. It causes no interference or hazards to the atmosphere or earth. All functions are measured and controlled preventing interference with earth’s natural processes including photosynthesis. It is made of existing technologies re-engineered for this mission and can be deployed in 5-7 years.
Our Mission is to regulate the significant warming trend in our climate by filtering the amount of infrared rays from the sun to control the amount of heat reaching the earth’s surface, preserving our atmosphere, the environment, and life.
