Psychiatrist and author Tanveer Ahmed says energy crises being experienced throughout the developed and developing world will lead to many becoming “very cynical” about “worst aspects” of the green movement.

“It was amazing to see that in parallel with the big climate crisis in Glasgow you had prices for oil, gas, coal, all shooting through the roof and power shortages right across the world,” he told Sky News host Gary Hardgrave.

“And part of the reason is that there's been green activists putting so much pressure on the ability build or produce or process gas, coal.” Energy crises will leave many ‘very cynical’ about ‘worst aspects’ of the green movement
