An interesting film produced by Horsmans Driving Instructor School (no other credits), around 1962. This shows examples of good and poor practice using actual road situations from all over England I think.

Obviously all the advice here applies to road conditions and regulations as they were 60 years ago, and are not intended as an information source for road safety today. merely as an example of how roads were generally used way back then.
